I need some help!
I have been asked to shoot a group shot of a corporate board. I have been told that there will be around 15 people in the image and the mood is to be conservative. Yay!!
After spending considerable time in research today, I have yet to see a corporate image of that amount of people that I liked. Making an image is one thing, making an image I can be proud of is a whole other thing. I'd like to make something special here, especially since I haven't seen it done before.
SO! Thoughts? Ideas? What have you got? What would you do?

ReplyDeleteHere's a nice one - very conservative
You could also do it on the steps outside their building possibly showing their logo or number in the background...
An assignment like that doesn't leave a lot of wiggle room for creativity, to be sure! I was thinking that the backdrops could at least make the image have a little more "pop". I came across this, and I don't know whether your client would go for it or not, but, it's some food for thought:

Thank you both for the comments and links! Great stuff!
ReplyDeleteI always prefer shooting outdoors whenever possible. Of course, you're at the mercy of the weather, but you've got so much more freedom to be creative. I don't really have any specific recommendations other than get 'em outside!
ReplyDeleteHave you access to a boardroom? Perhaps around a conference table (stategically staged of course to fit everyone) ~Tab
ReplyDeleteJust had an idea. Take them all to a playground and get various shots of them on the equipment. And I'm only half-kidding. Guess that doesn't jive with the whole conservative thing, eh?
